Outdoor Community Daily

2/26/12 - This 62% merino wool for warmth, 36% nylon for durability and 2% spandex for stretch ski sock hits the mark for me.  I’m hard on socks.  Skiing to me often means a predawn cross country outing to exercise the dogs, followed by a skin up one of the local mountains and then a full day of lift served runs.  Oh yea, how about dinner in town before heading home.  All of this without the benefit of a change of socks. Tough work for one pair of socks, but the Ski Pro Light has held up all season, without no sign of wear and no odor bombs upon removing my boots.

For travelers doing a lot of walking and hiking, they can make or break how well your feet hold up.”  About Point6 he continues, “With merino you get a lot of useful properties for travelers: temperature management, odor-resistance, and warmth without the itch. Point6 pairs have also got all the properties you’ll find in a quality pair of socks like mesh ventilation where you need it and reinforced cushioning where you don’t.”
